§ 1 Information on the collection of personal data

(1) In the following, you will be informed about the collection of personal data when using the website www.hebammenzentrale-hannover.de. Personal data is all data that can be related to you personally, e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses, user behavior.

(2) The controller pursuant to Art. 4 (7) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the Hannover Region, represented by the President of the Region, Hildesheimer Straße 20, 30159 Hannover; e-mail: info[at]region-hannover.de. You can contact our data protection officer at datenschutz[at]region-hannover.de or at our postal address with the addition "der Datenschutzbeauftragte". Note: When contacting us by e-mail, please note that this communication cannot be offered in encrypted form. If you therefore wish to send confidential data to the data protection officer, we recommend communication by post.

§ Section 2 Your rights

(1) You have the following rights vis-à-vis the Hannover Region with regard to your personal data:

- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR, § 9 Nds. Data Protection Act - NDSG),

- Right to rectification or erasure (Art. 16 and 17 GDPR),

- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),

- Right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR),

- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

(2) You also have the right to complain to the data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us. To do so, please contact the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony, Prinzenstraße 2, 30159 Hanover; www.lfd.niedersachsen.de.

§ 3 Collection of personal data when visiting the website

(1) The following data is processed when you visit the website www.hebammenzentrale-hannover.de. (Legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR):

  • Date and time of access,
  • Amount of data transferred,
  • Notification of whether the request was successful,
  • Description of the type of web browser used.
  • IP address

Personal user profiles cannot be created. The stored data is only evaluated for statistical purposes.

(2) When registering for events and services offered by the midwives or the Midwives Center, the following data is processed (legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR):

  • Name
  • e-mail address
  • Address and telephone number, if applicable

(3) When registering for the email distribution list, the following data is processed (legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR)

  • Name
  • E-mail address

(4) When joining the waiting list, the following data is processed (legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR)

  • Name
  • Date of delivery
  • Parity
  • Contact details
  • Place where care is to take place

§ 4 Purpose of the processing

(1) Temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable delivery of the website to the user's computer. For this purpose, the user's IP address must remain stored for the duration of the session. The data is stored in log files to ensure the functionality of the website. In addition, we use the data to optimize the website and to ensure the security of the information technology systems.

(2) The processing of personal data in accordance with § 3 para. 2 only takes place in the context of event organization.

(3) The processing of personal data in accordance with § 3 para. 3 only takes place in the context of sending e-mails relating to information about the Midwives' Center.

(4) The processing of personal data in accordance with § 3 Para. 4 only takes place in the context of mediation to registered midwives and for making contact.

§ 5 Lawfulness of data processing

The legal basis for the temporary storage of data and log files is the legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a, b, f GDPR.

§ 6 Access to your data

In addition to Region Hannover, Drive GmbH & Co KG as host of the website and, for the period of the takeover, Pro Familia Landesverband Niedersachsen e.V. also have access to the data.

§ 7 Transfer of data to a third country

Data will only be transferred to countries outside the European Union (so-called third countries) or an international organization if you have given your consent or within the framework of the respective procedures in the form of legally permitted legal assistance.

§ 8 Duration of data processing

(1) Log files are stored for a maximum of seven days for security reasons (e.g. to investigate misuse and fraud) and then deleted. Data whose further storage is required for evidence purposes is excluded from deletion until the respective incident has been finally clarified.

(2) The personal data in accordance with § 3 para. 2 will be deleted after the statutory retention period has expired.

(3) The personal data pursuant to § 3 para. 3 will be deleted as soon as the use for the e-mail distribution list is objected to.

(4) The personal data in accordance with § 3 para. 4 will be deleted after successful placement or after expiry of the delivery date. Deletion from the waiting list can also be requested at any time.

§ 9 Description of procedure

(1) The website is generally used without disclosing who you are. Every time a user accesses a page on the website and every time a file is retrieved, data about this process is stored in a log file. This data is not personal; however, it is possible to trace which user has accessed which file.

(2) It is possible to register for events offered by midwives or the Midwives' Center. In this context, the personal data of interested parties that is required for registration is collected, processed and used. This is always done on the basis of consent.

(3) In order to send information to midwives and interested parties, it is possible to be included in an e-mail distribution list. This is also subject to consent.

(4) Expectant mothers have the option of being placed on a waiting list. This serves to refer them to a registered midwife. This is done on the basis of consent.

Use of Matomo tracking software

Our website uses Matomo, a so-called web analysis service. Matomo uses cookies, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. For this purpose, the usage information generated by the cookie (including your shortened IP address) is transmitted to our server and stored for usage analysis purposes, which serves to optimize our website. Your IP address is anonymized during this process so that you as a user remain anonymous to us. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is not passed on to third parties.
