Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Additionally on Monday from 3 - 6 pm
For organizational reasons, there will be no telephone consultation hours on Wednesday and Friday.

Welcome to the Midwife Center Hannover Region
We offer expectant parents help in finding a midwife in Hanover and the surrounding area
A midwife is part of your life right from the start: women are legally entitled to care from a midwife from the very beginning of their pregnancy. The costs of midwife assistance during pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period are covered by health insurance. However, due to the shortage of midwives, many pregnant women have problems finding a midwife. This is where the Hebammenzentrale Region Hannover comes in: We support pregnant women and their families in their search for a midwife in and around Hanover. We also offer help in finding courses for birth preparation or postnatal recovery. During our telephone consultation hours, we also provide advice on all questions relating to the midwifery services offered for pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding and can contribute our many years of experience as midwives.
We support midwives in starting and returning to work
We also offer support to midwives in the Hannover region. We provide advice on (re-)entering freelance work, put new midwives in touch with other colleagues and institutions in the healthcare sector and help to simplify the general organization of work. The team at Hebammenzentrale can draw on a wealth of experience from many years of freelance work.

The Midwife Center Hannover Region is sponsored by the Hannover Region. The service is aimed at all women and all freelance midwives in the towns and municipalities of the Hannover Region. In addition to the city of Hanover, the catchment area also includes the towns and municipalities of Barsinghausen, Burgdorf, Burgwedel, Garbsen, Gehrden, Hemmingen, Isernhagen, Laatzen, Langenhagen, Lehrte, Neustadt am Rübenberge, Pattensen, Ronnenberg, Seelze, Sehnde, Springe, Uetze, Wedemark, Wennigsen and Wunstorf.
