Frauke Baller (external doctoral candidate at Hannover Medical School, Psychological Psychotherapist (VT) and M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology) is looking for interview partners affected by FGM/C for her study "Treatment wishes, needs and options of people in Germany affected by female genital mutilation" . One-off interviews of 60 to 90 minutes each will be conducted in presence in German, English or with the support of an interpreter, focusing on treatment in Germany after FGM/C. The aim of the study is to be able to incorporate the patient perspective more into the treatment of FGM/C in the future.

The interviews will be conducted and recorded by Ms Baller (psychotherapist specializing in psychotraumatology) and will take place in her practice in Hanover. However, Ms. Baller would also travel near the women if a quiet room is available for the interview.
